The 115-hectare Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary features hundreds of water-filled rockpools formed by sandstone platforms. Accessible to visitors, the platforms provide a fantastic opportunity for exploration or guided tours.
The serenity of Half Moon Bay and Brighton’s famous Bathing Boxes, viewed from Green Point, make a vibrant and spectacular backdrop. Sandy beaches and clean waters along the entire Bayside coastline continue to attract thousands of beach goers year round.

Bayside has many parks scattered across the municipality including Landcox Park with its exotic trees and lake, to the rose gardens located at the Brighton Arts and Cultural Centre (formally the Brighton Town Hall).
Elsternwick Park has an accessible playground and a large natural watercourse which provides a safe habitat for swans, ducks and the indigenous rakali.
Dendy Park provides 1.5km in walking tracks with playgrounds and playing fields for anyone looking for something more strenuous.
Cheltenham Park offers a natural bushland setting and flora reserve making it the perfect location for relaxing social occasions. Picnic and barbeque facilities are provided for your enjoyment at most Bayside parks.
